Continental Football League. Played for only one season in 1966. Interesting fact: The GM of this team was baseball Dodgers legend Jackie Robinson.
America Football Association 1981

Not to be confused with the WFL Chicago Fire or any Arena Football League team, the Chicago Fire of the American Football Association existed for only one season in 1981. The league itself existed from only 1981 to early 1982, when the USFL came along and extinguished this dream of a summer football league.
